Locavores flock to Farmer’s Market

Richmond Abundance at South of the James Marketby Dawn Van Ness and Alix Bryan

This week is National Famer’s Market week. Richmond Farmer’s Markets and community gardens are a growing local trend. See, hear, and sample the South of the James Market, the most popular market in town. Each Saturday, locals flock to the market to purchase items from Richmond growers and artisans, or to simply hang out with their neighbors. Stacie Moulds, board chair of Tricycle Gardens shares about her passion for helping people grow food and the popularity of community gardening.
